Brant Aero installed an Aspen E5 in my Piper Seneca II in May 2019 to replace a failed DG and working AI. Install went very well. Brant Aero kept me in the loop on progress and had the install completed at the agreed time. I have about 20 hours flying hand-flying IFR in IMC with the E5, and it performs well. Easy to read, rock stable, easy to adjust bugs/values. It is coupled to a GNS 430W, and the autoslew course feature is very welcome compared to my old, vacuum DG/CDI combo. The altitude setting/bug is very useful. I kept the vacuum AI and moved it to the spot vacated by the CDI that was removed as part of the E5 install. Overall, very happy with the decision to install the E5. By the way, I looked at other options, G5, G3X, Dynon, but the E5 was the only one approved for the PA34-200T approved for flight into known icing.
