Import Cost Budget

Pre-purchase Inspection:

1. The pre-purchase inspection for any aircraft is designed to reflect approximately 80% of the cost of a 100 hour inspection. Example T 182. – $2,280.00
2. If aircraft purchased we can sign off a fresh 100 hour inspection for only $800.00 (Parts, snags and taxes extra.)
3. If we are required to travel off site – all expenses and $1,000.00 per day (Off site inspections do not create an opportunity to sign off a 100 hour inspection at reduce price.)

In addition some additional items that are of interest for the Pre- purchase inspection and planning :

1. Oil sample for analysis. – $75.00
2. Cut oil filter for inspection and report. – $100.00
3. Borescope cylinders and record results. – $100.00
4. Test Flight – test all avionics and systems and report. – $120.00
5. Provincial (2) Lien Search with Letter of Opinion (Canada). – $400.00
6. Aircraft Valuation. – $800.00
7. Aircraft Registration removal and replacement (Varies) If paint – depends on location, number of colours. – $1,000.00 to $2,500.00
8. Aircraft registration Vinyl removal and re-installation of new with shadow and slant. – $1,000.00 (includes under wing) Or 850.00 for 12 inch on fuselage
9. Importation preparation, paperwork, open logs and file for Transport Canada. – $4,000.00
10. MDM Fee – Issue C of A. – $1,000.00
