Schedule
While we are working to keep the schedule accommodative to the arrival of the aircraft there could be some adjustment depending upon when the aircraft arrives. We have certain people with certain credentials for different aspects of the process.
Depending upon when arrives this is how the schedule will look:
Day 1: Test flight, oil sample, drain oil, cut filter and inspect, motostat/borescope and commence PPI.
Day 2: Report all test flight findings and obtain direction from buyer and seller for investigation if any. Continue PPI.
Day 3: By end of day – submit PPI report without estimates for the Buyer and Seller’s review and discussion.
Day 4: Prepare and submit estimates for any and all findings. Stop work pending authorization to reassemble or continue with 100 hour. (ie. Deal is made).
- If reassemble – we would complete by end of Day 5 and present aircraft for return to owner.
- If continue we would update completion time at this stage based on work to be done for snags and additional work.
- Complete Lien search and report to buyer. (extra—not like USA where liens are centrally registered at FAA—If a Canadian aircraft we recommend to search Ontario and any province that the aircraft has been associated with.
Time frame unknown – Buyer and Seller complete Purchase and Sale Agreement and file with money in escrow for closing. Escrow is easy and ONLY way to close a US deal. In Canada for a Canadian aircraft we have different ways to close a deal.
