Stranded in CARP

Stranded in CARP

Michael Bourget Testimonial

Issue: While doing the Annual Inspection, it was determined there was an engine issue with bumping upon shutdown. After cleaning the fuel nozzle, the problem went away but only temporarily.

Solution: Swap engines from one aircraft to the other… but the aircraft is not serviceable and stationed 5 hours away in CARP and we are at CYFD.

Problem Solved!

We sent two of our professional team Mitch Callaghan and Jarret Balazs to CARP to swap out the engine from C-GGRY (known as GreyBird) to C-GDLG (known as RedBird). After 3 long days the engines were swapped, serviced, generator issues trouble shot and aircraft assembled and ready to go.

Michael Bourget with Acer Cold War Museum was happy to report that “We love Brant! Especially Mitch. The quality of work and the attention to detail keeps us coming back”.

Thank you, Michael – We look forward to working with you again in the near future.
